One of the many legends about the origin of coffee tells that there was a goat herder in Ethiopia called Kaldi and that one day he realized the vitality of his herd after eating red and shiny berries from a bush.
It is said that he brought those berries to a revered Muslim in a monastery. The old man immediately disapproved of their use and threw them into the fire. But at that moment they were captivated by an intoxicating balm that pushed the wise man to put his hands in the embers and extract the toasted grains.
They say that he poured them in hot water with salt and thus made the first cup of coffee in the world.
There are many stories like this one that go back to the 13th century and make it difficult to clarify the origin of the coffee. The mystery, in fact, extends to the present day.
Great philosophers, writers, artists and many other celebrities have dedicated a few words to the enveloping aroma and magic of this captivating drink, which keeps us together at the end of a meal or brings us together with old friends to catch up.
We love this project, just like coffee (with milk).
We have discovered together with Dario the art of coffee, some of the secrets of its preparation in each step and the beauty of its final detail. Come on that being a barista requires all of this and more!
We went through the design process from the beginning, researching, relieving, thinking the naming and giving shape to the creation of the brand, the one in which the hand, the wrist and the eye of our barista was reflected.
And so AGRO CAFÉ was born, a very minimalist isologotype, where the O has the shape of a cup and everything is summarized in the pregnancy generated in its totality, as simple and unique as its name indicates.
