In the world of CMS there are many possibilities and variants, either for their functionality, use cases or the technologies that are used to create the infrastructures for publishing and viewing content.

There are several types of CMS.

For example:

1) CMS for creating online stores (E-Commerce): Prestashop, along with Magento, is usually the best valued option and by which most of the developers of online stores, at all levels, usually decant.

2) For other types of web projects that do not include online store, there are three popular CMS for web creation:  WordPressJoomla and Drupal. All three are CMS managers written in PHP and open source.

There are also quite advanced CMS-level programming based on MVC (MODEL-VISTA-CONTROLLER) based on the Laravel framework.

3) OctoberCMS is a new ORM (Object Relational Mapping CMS) based on Laravel and has a fairly wide range of features including permissions, users, plugins, and several more subtle ones that make October CMS a very powerful proposal.

A Content Management System (CMS) allows the creation and management of content on web pages.

It consists of an interface that controls one or more databases where the content of the site is hosted. The system allows independent handling of content and design. Thus, it is possible to manage the content and at any time give a different design to the site without having to format the content again, in addition to easily allowing the publication of information on the site through publishers.

When we see the web page in a browser we do not see these differentiated layers, neither the database, nor the programming, nor the source code of the layout (layout), what we see is the sum of all of them, the final result.

This is called rendering the web page.
